On 18 August 2025, producers of the show confirmed that Bhuti Omdala had been cast to play a brand-new character named Kinati, a clever yet mischievous con artist. According to eTV publicist Tshegofatso Kolotse, Kinati is a 36-year-old hustler who disguises himself as a 9-year-old boy to deceive unsuspecting victims. Using his youthful looks, baby voice, and innocent demeanor, he manipulates people for financial gain.

Kolotse explained further that Kinati has a dual personality: one side is a streetwise schemer who enjoys drinking and smoking, while the other side plays up the role of a polite and respectful child. This unpredictable nature makes him both entertaining and dangerous, setting the stage for explosive drama on the show.

Bhuti Omdala rose to fame in 2024 through his viral TikTok videos featuring dance routines, comedy skits, and relatable everyday humor. His popularity skyrocketed as fans were drawn to his energy and natural comedic timing. He lives with Growth Hormone Deficiency (GHD), commonly known as dwarfism, which gives him a youthful appearance despite being an adult.
