Charlie Kirk Reportedly Shot and Killed at Utah Valley University Event

Conservative commentator and founder of Turning Point USA, Charlie Kirk, was reportedly shot and killed during a public appearance at Utah Valley University on September 10, 2025. He was 31 years old.

The incident occurred while Kirk was engaging with students during a live event on campus, part of his ongoing “American Comeback Tour.” According to early reports, a gunshot was heard during the interaction, striking Kirk in the neck or head. Witnesses say the scene quickly turned chaotic as students and staff ran for cover.

Emergency services responded swiftly, and Kirk was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition. However, he was later pronounced dead from his injuries.

Law enforcement officials have confirmed that a suspect is in custody. The shooter is believed to have fired from a nearby building. An investigation is currently ongoing, with federal authorities, including the FBI, now involved in the case.
