Extraordinary Canine Choreography: Roni and Rhythm Deliver Breathtaking Performance on America’s Got Talent

The world of competitive dog dancing has reached new heights as talented trainer Roni Sagi and her remarkable border collie Rhythm delivered what many are calling the most impressive canine performance in television talent show history during their recent America’s Got Talent audition.

Following in the prestigious footsteps of previous canine champions like Britain’s Got Talent winners Ashley and Pudsey (2012) and Jules O’Dwyer with Matisse (2015), as well as last year’s America’s Got Talent victors Adrian Stoica and Hurricane, this exceptional new duo has elevated the art form to unprecedented levels with their flawless routine.

Their mesmerizing performance, choreographed to Sia’s haunting rendition of “California Dreamin’,” showcased perfect synchronization between handler and dog. Roni’s elegant gymnastics-inspired movements provided the perfect complement to Rhythm’s incredible agility as the border collie expertly navigated around her in precise formation. During the emotionally-charged lyric “I’ll be safe and warm,” Rhythm executed a breathtaking move by rising to his hind legs for an embrace before transitioning into an advanced position with his paws delicately positioned on Roni’s shoulders.

Throughout the routine, Rhythm demonstrated exceptional training through complex maneuvers including reverse circling, rapid spins, weaving patterns between Roni’s legs, and lightning-fast jumps through her arms. Perhaps most impressive was the sequence where Roni performed intricate backward pigeon steps with crossing feet while Rhythm perfectly mirrored her movements—a technical achievement that visibly amazed veteran judge Simon Cowell.

The extraordinary display earned an immediate standing ovation from the entire judging panel. Celebrity judge Sofia Vergara described the performance as “magic,” while Simon Cowell, renowned for his appreciation of canine acts, declared it “a level up” from even the previous season’s championship-winning routine. With unanimous “Yes” votes, the pair advanced to the next competition round.

Roni’s professional background in canine training stems from a lifelong connection with dogs. “Growing up, my mom would find stray dogs and bring them home every few months. We’d care for them and find new homes for them, so I was always around dogs,” she revealed to producers. This passion led to her founding the Keta Tov Dog Dance School, which offers specialized online training programs for aspiring canine dancers worldwide.

Despite their partnership beginning only in 2022, Roni and Rhythm have already achieved elite-level recognition in professional competition, securing a top 10 placement at Germany’s prestigious Open European Championship for Dog Dancing. With their audition video surpassing 2.3 million YouTube views, this extraordinary team has quickly emerged as audience favorites and strong contenders for the America’s Got Talent championship title.
