Before the service began, Presley’s colleagues formed a guard of honour as his coffin was carried into the hall—a final tribute to a beloved talent.

Tributes Pour In

Dr. Jerry Mofokeng reflected on Presley’s legacy:
“He left us too soon. At 40, he built a legacy worth 30 years. We must remember him with pride—his passion for acting shone in every role.”

Actress Winnie Ntshaba, who recently worked with him, fought back tears:
“Just days ago, we were filming ‘Cobrizi’—now we’re here. To his family, may God bring you peace. As an industry, we’ve lost a giant.”

Actor Oros Mampofu added:
“These days have been tough, but today, we celebrate Presley—his dedication, humility, and love for his craft. Let’s honour him by embodying those values.”

Presley Chweneyagae was laid to rest at Zandfontein Cemetery, leaving behind an unforgettable legacy in South African cinema.
