When Airplane Etiquette Goes Wrong: A Captain’s Perfect Response to Disruptive Passenger

Air travel can test anyone’s patience, but one passenger’s inconsiderate behavior turned an international flight into an unforgettable lesson in travel etiquette.
The Flight That Tested Everyone’s Patience

Her pointed glances at both me and the window-seat passenger made her meaning clear. The window-seat passenger stared straight ahead, pretending not to notice.
“I’m sorry, but we’re fully booked today,” the flight attendant explained patiently. “There’s nowhere else for you to move.”
“You mean that there’s not one seat available on this flight? What about business class? Nothing?” Karen demanded.
“No, ma’am,” the flight attendant replied. “There’s nothing available.”
